





Nick Catone

Nick Catone graduated in 2004 from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ where he wrestled all 5 years. Rider is a NCAA Division I program and Nick had over 100 career wins and still wrestles at Rider to train for his upcoming MMA fights. He currently holds a black belt rank in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the guidance of legendary 4th degree BJJ black belt and UFC veteran, Ricardo Almeida. Nick’s Jiu-Jitsu training began in 2005 and his first professional (MMA) mixed martial arts fight was in May 2007.
After fighting in the local MMA events with an undefeated record of 6-0, he became the middleweight champion for Lou Neglia’s Ring of Combat. In 2008, Nick received an opportunity to sign a multiple fight deal with the world’s largest fight organization with the UFC ® – Ultimate Fighting Championship and debuted his UFC career on February 7, 2009 with a submission win against Derek Downey at the sun dome in Tampa, Florida. In addition to training full-time for the UFC, Nick dedicates himself coaching and instructing at his 8,000 square foot state of the art training facility in his hometown, Brick NJ.
