





Jerry Fatjo

Gerard V. Fatjo born May 8, 1969, in Edison, NJ began studying martial arts at the age of 19, he began with the Korean style of Tae Kwon Do and received his first-degree black belt in this style before moving on to other arts.
In 1994 Jerry began training with Chris Ascari student of Sigung Richard Bustillo of the International Martial Boxing Academy (IMB) Sigung Bustillo (a former student of Bruce Lee), Sigung Bustillo training consist of Muay Thai Kickboxing, western boxing, catchascatchcan wrestling, Jun Fan-Jeet Kune Do and Doces Pares Eskrima. In March 2013, Jerry received his Master Ranking.
He also began training with Kru Phil Nurse, a 3-time Muay Thai Kickboxing champion in New York City to help grow his Muay Thai skills.
He continued his training with these instructors and added Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to his training. He began his training under Renzo Gracie in Middletown, NJ. He then connected with Brazilian Black Belt and champion Fernando Cabeca and earned his Black Belt in BJJ.
Jerry is also a Second-Degree black belt in Doce Pares Eskrima from Grand Master "Cacoy" Canete in July of 2000.
Jerry Fatjo owns and operates the Fatjo's Martial Arts Center in Morganville, NJ. He teaches adults, teens and kids the arts of Muay Thai, submission grappling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Doce Pares, and JFJKD, he is also co-founder of New Jersey Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
